DS: Risk Warning; Stranger Danger

Hello all, We are being far more cautious in these days of fake news, etc. about these warnings. However, the source is part of the Police Service and information useful and may help to track down the perpetrator. I repeat it below for your careful use. 'There was an attempted child abduction last week.  A year 7 pupil at a S. Bristol Academy was approached by a man as she walked home alone.  The man attempted to abduct her but the child was able to run away to safety.  The man had a very distinctive snake tattoo on his face. Please can everyone be vigilant particularly at the end of the school day.'' Thanks. Bill

DS: Risk Warning; Terrorism Threat Level reduced

Therefore, the advice to remain vigilant and aware continues and my advice regarding risk assessment review relevant. All the best. Bill

DS: Risk Warning; UK Terror Threat Critical

Extra patrols are mounted, covert surveillance is stepped up and troops are deployed to free up police officers to focus on the main effort: catching the bomber before another device can be planted. We are asked to remain "vigilant", but we should "not be alarmed". It appears suspects are being sought and it would be unwise to work on the basis that only London is at risk.
