We recommend that in the light of this you consider urgently the impact of the travel to work arrangements for your staff. Do this beyond the Motorways, as inevitably, the rerouting of traffic will have a dramatic knock on across the area on the A roads, which in turn will cascade down to others.
It may be necessary, if working from home isn't an option, to look at the possibility of beating the action on the Monday morning to get to work, or even an initiative on the Sunday evening of some type.
Think too about communicating beyond your workforce to pupils/students and their families as their journeys will be impacted. Are exams going to be affected?
Expected deliveries and services may well struggle too. Will that impact on successful opening and providing lunch maybe, or other aspects of what is planned for the day?
All the best.
Bill
